You Forgot you use to have the Butterflies for Him!!

After 20 years of marriage, it's easy to forget the butterflies you used to feel for your husband. The day-to-day grind of life can take its toll, and it can be hard to find the time and energy to put into your relationship. But it's important to remember that the spark is still there, you just have to find a way to rekindle it.

Here are a few tips on how to get those butterflies back in your marriage:

Reminisce about your early days together.

Think back to when you first met, when you fell in love, and when you got married. What were the things that made you feel so giddy and excited? Talk about these memories with your husband and let yourselves feel that way again.

Focus on communication.

Make sure you're still talking to each other on a regular basis. Share your thoughts and feelings, both the good and the bad. Communication is key to keeping any relationship strong, but it's especially important in a long-term marriage.

Bring back the romantic gestures.

Do the things that used to make him swoon. Send him cologne, candy change it up!! or for my husband I'd get him a deck of cards, cook him dinner, or give him a massage. These small gestures will show him that you're still thinking of him and that you care.

Practice gratitude.

Take some time each day to appreciate your husband for all that he does for you. Tell him how much you love and appreciate him. Gratitude can help to strengthen your bond and make you feel more connected to each other.

Schedule date nights.

Make time for each other on a regular basis, even if it's just for a few hours. Go out to dinner, see a movie, or just stay in and cuddle. Date nights are a great way to reconnect and keep the spark alive.

Kiss more often.

Kissing is a great way to show your husband that you love and desire him. It can also help to boost your mood and make you feel more connected.

It's never too late to rekindle the spark in your marriage. By following these tips, you can bring back those butterflies and remind yourself why you fell in love in the first place.

Here is some bible verses that I like to go to.

Matthew 19:6 "So they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."

Psalms 85:10 "Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed."

Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

In closing i hope this inspires you to know it never to late to reignite that spark

I hope these tips help you to rekindle the spark in your marriage. Remember, the butterflies are still there, you just have to find a way to let them out.
